So they arrived and I was surprised that they were tiny (not tiny but smaller than expected). So I immediately checked with a ruler. And I was surprised to see that they are all 5 inches long anyway. Some are a bit thicker than others, but mostly they are quite thin (about 3/4 inch and inch). I would say since you get 6 per pack it's worth buying. They look pretty clean (no mold), they have some dirt on them so you need to cook them. I think they will work for what I need them for. It's not very see-through, but the holes are pretty clear, and I bet you could see through the holes after a good long boil.
