I had no idea they would also work until I had to replace the MDF with a much smaller cabinet hinge screw with something my athletic roommate's gorilla hands could prop up. I used a 9/32" drill bit to drill the perfect hole for this EZ-Lok insert in the side of the MDF case, a hex wrench to screw the insert into the case, and then a loop of attached to the side of the housing is the EZ-Lok. Inserts with 10-24 x 1/2" Phillips pan head machine screws. It took me about 3 minutes to screw in two pairs of these screws to hold a hinge in place. The results are impressive. -to the side or in/out to to wobble at all. For something that looks mundane, that's brilliant.
