There's no denying that this is a very, very stylish fan! It's very quiet, and with 56-inch blades, it moves air very well. I installed it below our deck and it transformed what was basically walking territory into an extraordinary place to sit and relax. I particularly like the koa finish on the blades. The remote control is great, it makes controlling the fan very easy! With that in mind, I would suggest that you consider having a professional install it. I have installed several ceiling fans in my house and this was by far the most difficult. The instructions could be made more precise or supplemented with an illustration. Newcomers, watch out! But if you know your way around electric ceiling fans AND can follow the instructions carefully, do your best.
