Everything about it is great.

Everything about it is perfect. The only thing I will suggest is not to take it in winter. Replacing the battery can be tricky as you have to remove the screws to access the battery compartment. Using a magnetic screwdriver will help you avoid losing the screws. The manual says nothing about "V+ and V-". You control the volume.
