When installing on the dashboard, you need to press very hard, otherwise it won't stay in place.
I like it. I installed it on the flat part of the dashboard (in front of the top screen) of a 2015 Honda CRV. I had to put a lot of pressure on the base of the holder when attaching it to the dash. There were no instructions in the kit so I had to figure out how to set it up myself. After installing and customizing it, it was great and I use it every time I use Waze.
