First Impression — The Viltrox AF 23mm F1.4 STM lens arrived safely in its padded packaging. The design and build quality are superb and comparable to more expensive glass. The controls are smooth and easy to use. Please note that the aperture ring has no cut-outs. This is great for movies, but can easily cause unintentional collisions when taking photos. Hopefully it stays on Auto as the aperture will likely be controlled by the camera. The lens hood is better than most more expensive lenses, but a stronger locking notch or locking mechanism could probably be used. The autofocus on the Fujifilm X-T4 is fast and quiet. Opt for the X-T4's totally silent electronic shutter and you've got a totally silent photo setup. More on that once I've tried it.
