First Impression — The Viltrox AF 23mm F1.4 STM lens arrived safely in its padded packaging. The design and build quality are superb and comparable to more expensive glass. The controls are smooth and easy to use. Please note that the aperture ring has no cut-outs. This is great for movies, but can easily cause unintentional collisions when taking photos. I'm a fan of Nikon and Fuji. I mainly shoot on film for fun and digital for serious photography. This is my first Viltrox lens and it sounded weird right after I bought it. Autofocus has always worked and been noisy when installed on my X-T3 and X-S10, but after updating to the latest firmware it's as good as it gets. Photos are very sharp.
