Review on πŸ”ͺ Smiths SK2 2 Stone Sharpening Kit: Unlock Sharpness with Precision by Luis Adu

This is a neat little sharpening system.

I think I've tried pretty much every type of sharpener and for knives I've found that stone and oil work best when the blade takes more than you can get from a diamond stone. However, I have used many systems where you draw the knife; electric stone sharpeners; Poles included in many sets; general purpose types; water stones and sticks; makes wet stones; different grain size of the stone; diamond bars; and the Lansky puck. If I have a decent edge a diamond stone is best for sharpening but when they get dull I prefer a washer to get the edge then I move on to taking a little less with a medium stone and then done close. with Arkansas stone perfectly stored under a plastic case. I bought some Bayesian mineral oil to try on some other rocks I had that weren't really "rocks" just compacted, but I needed a rock from Arkansas and it was a bargain to get it to do this topic. ...although it's thin and a bit fragile, so don't drop it. Lansky Puck is marketed as an ax sharpener but it's the best stone I've ever used and now I have a couple to do anything with the blade we use to take a couple of acres off mower blades, grass shears, hoes, Knives and even an ax to maintain, so I highly recommend it for knives. I removed the star because of the little piece of plastic they use as a mount and the wooden part with rubber feet would have been worth paying a little more for.
