Added reasonably clear instructions so installation was basically easy! I'd recommend watching some YouTube videos on how to take off old steering racks if you're not mechanically inclined or haven't done too much with steering racks before this job. The racks were a bit greasy out of the box so I would recommend having paper towels or latex gloves on hand when unpacking! The struts feel very solid and you can feel the quality of these gas springs as they pop open and open. closed. I bought my car with broken luggage racks and fiddled with them for a whole year until they finally quit their job and got hit in the head a couple of times by my heavy sunroof. I ended up buying them out of frustration and I'm so glad I did! I should have bought them a long time ago! I didn't even know my sunroof opened that high, and when I pulled it down to close, the new pillars offered some resistance. The old struts seemed to lose all pressure as soon as you pulled the sunroof down. They're worth the money if you use your trunk/hatch a lot! 5 stars from me!
