Does exactly what it promises: large, faceted clear ice balls
I just got this, so I can't comment on its durability, but it absolutely does what it was designed to do: make large, faceted, very clear ice balls. The shape and insulator look well made and fit well together. Scoops of ice cream came out almost perfectly clear with just filtered water (no cooking tricks or anything). They fit nicely in a short glass and disappear entirely while the whiskey stays cool for a good 10 minutes without melting too much to dilute with water. . Very happy with the first results.
