Review on Rubbermaid Filtration Bottle Filter 1784122 by Carrie Anderson

I got this bottle because of its high ratings and really liked its usage and water filtration quality. However, the replacement filters I ordered from Amazon, which were supposed to fit this bottle, didn't fit. These were supposedly "novelty" filters that connected to the bottle differently, but clearly didn't fit the bottle. I called Rubbermaid to find out what was going on and the rep there told me they first changed filters for a while and then discontinued the entire bottle line in 2013. THIS MEANS, BOTTLE, YOU MAY NEVER GET A REPLACEMENT FILTER THAT MATCHES THE BOTTLE AGAIN. Revain mercifully let me return the bottle even though I was a bit outside the return window, but the real villain here is Rubbermaid for showing no decency. at least continue to produce filters for the many thousands of people who have bought their bottled water.
