I bought this to take to the drive-in cinema. That was after I drained my car battery by turning on the radio and sitting on the lawn watching a Jungle Cruise and Cruella double film. I then had to ask to jump in the middle of the night which is a terrible way to end the evening. I figured I could hook it up to an external speaker and next time not use the car stereo. This little radio exceeded my expectations in every way. It's a nice shiny little thing, it's very easy to use, and the small speakers have a much higher sound quality and volume than I expected. I might not even need an external speaker. Now I'm just waiting for the return of drive-in season to try it out. Music is with me, even when the internet is not there. I thought the era of portable MP3 players was over, but this cute gadget proved me wrong.
