Review on 🚀 K&N Cold Air Intake Kit: Boost Toyota's Horsepower | 2001-2009 Verso, Avensis, Corolla by Kyle Rock

This air intake kit is not designed for American Toyota. It doesn't have a nipple to connect the EVAP purge valve to the air intake. While you can install it without connecting the EVAP purge valve, it's illegal on the streets and in any state that has emissions testing, it will fail the test. That aside, it's a quality product made in the UK. For Corolla this does not work now with cars manufactured before January 2002. That same month they switched to a different filter box with a longer inlet hose, which they used on the next-gen Corolla. I've attached a picture of the newer filter box it will work with, but the old filter doesn't. Even if you rig this kit to work with an old intake hose, it will place the filter too close to the engine and you will be drawing in hot air, which is not what you want. I have a 2002 Corolla with an older filter box and I returned the kit without even attempting to install it.
