Works as it should, only one complaint is that the part of the barrel that the Uniden part goes in has grooves or teeth that hold that part in place. The Uniden part added for the detector does not fit. I found a washing machine that was NEVER listed in the instructions. And I've squeezed it between two parts and it doesn't move as easily as it used to. The shock and detector weren't aligned, so the black, thin plastic disk that was in my seat after I opened the packaging did the trick. I'm assuming it comes with the item as it didn't exist before I opened the package to install. It would be easier if the extra part had grooves or teeth, like part of the barrel. Perhaps the manufacturer will update this only complaint
