Don't lock, don't buy
It must be hard to make good rings. These don't quite fit. They don't rotate easily when installed. The only way to get the shutter to work is to press down on the cover. Steam is still coming. Sometimes it works, sometimes the food burns. Recently, the rings have exploded, suddenly releasing steam and forcing the cats to run for cover. Find and buy a real Instant Pot ring. I'm doing that right now.
