Review on Pedros 138900 Bicycle Cable Puller by Luke Liu

Revainrating 3 out of 5

There's a reason it sells for half or a little less than its closest competitor. The toothed part for which the lock is hooked.

You'll get your money's worth and not a penny more, there's a reason it's selling for half or a little less than its top competitor. The jagged part where the lock sticks is actually slightly crumpled/deformed on mine, which is pretty unfortunate for something new out of the box. But it seems like they spent a lot of time making sure they shaved enough to leave you with just enough stuff to get the job done; although this suggests that they designed it that way and not just cheap. However, my first use for this tool is for zip tightening, cable pullers, which does the best job of any tool I've found for zip tightening, especially around fork blades and stems to keep the sensors and computer heads from moving , and it seems sturdy enough for the job.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Little things
