Installed this lightbar on a 2019 F250 with a factory fitted towbar kit. I couldn't find a way to use the forks to tow a trailer unless the dashboard said "Trailer on/off" every time I pressed the brake pedal. I've tried installing a diode in the line for the brake to no avail. Finally, I decided to "hardwire" the light strip to the lamp bases on each side with the taillight circuit, which necessitated ordering a "trailer harness" to maintain the correct color code, and I ordered a Spyro harness protector to accommodate the harness. to protect everything. I used solder with heat shrink connectors to bring all the connections together and no more "SUCCESS" warnings on the dash! The light strip itself works well, the adhesive keeps the light strip in place and it is very bright. No complaints after 3 months of use. Note: The serial signals lag about a second behind the standard trigger signal, but that's not a problem for me.
