The monitor runs at 120Hz with an HDMI cable, but with a DisplayPort cable it goes to 165Hz as advertised. However, you don't have Full HD if you go up to 165Hz - Full HD maxes out at 60Hz. You have to manually select the refresh rate in the NVIDIA Control Panel and only 60Hz is available for the Full HD list. You must select "PC" to select 165Hz.
