Really good strap but it doesn't last forever.
I had several spare tapes due to the same issue. I'm starting to get dropouts in the data. One minute everything is going great on your ride, the next you're looking at your Garmin and your heart rate is 50 bpm at 22 mph. Now we all know that's impossible. I have had to order this 5 times in the last 6 years which means they are used for less than a year before they fail. Considering that my Garmin Edge 1000 isn't a problem, I equate this to poor MFG processes. What Garmin calls premium has a premium price but not premium durability.
