There should be a better deal

My OnePlus phone has a 27w charger. I just bought a nice little Aukey charger to keep it going, but I needed a cable. If you look at the specs (and you really should with a purchase like this), most $12-$15 cables are limited to 15W. I found an Anker cable that certainly fits the bill, but it costs $20. For $10, this is a cable with excellent build quality that can handle 100 watts. I will also be able to use it for my Chromebook. This might seem expensive compared to the days when micro USB cables were bought for $3 or $4, but it's actually a staggering $10 price point. Oh, and it charged my phone at lightning speed, just like the original OnePlus charger. Small correction: my OnePlus charges at 20W (5V, 4A) but is still limited by the cable which can only handle 15W. This cable continues to work great. I buy a second one.

Pros
  • Thunderbolt 3 and USB-C compatible for charging computers and smartphones like 2016 MacBook Pro, Dell XPS 12/13 and Dell Latitude 12 7275/13 7370 and Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+/S8. /S8+/Note 8
Cons
  • boring packaging
