It's quiet on slower settings but has a high-pitched hiss that only I can hear. I work in the field of music and audio. She runs an upscale restaurant and only noticed her after I told her about it. The heat really works. I'll put out the fire after a few minutes. My girlfriend likes it hot. Good quality leather and stitching. Better than expected for the price paid. The size and length of the hand straps are good for both of us. I am 6ft 3in and she is 5ft 7in.
