Review on Enhance Performance and Disable Auto Start Stop with S1000 DiabloSport Sprint AFM Module by Keith Samuel

2014 GMC Sierra 5.3L. Bought this truck with 20,000 km in November 2017. I wasn't happy with the AFM after a few weeks of riding. I have sometimes observed huge plumes of smoke when the ACM is turned on or off. Big blue clouds of burning oil. The dealer said he couldn't find anything. Also, the truck seemed to shift very erratically, with the AFM turning on and off frequently. So I took a chance with this AFM distance module. It's been 90 days and I'm very satisfied. The oil no longer burns. Shifting is much smoother and the truck is more responsive (no hesitation when starting off) and it hasn't really affected my mileage except on long freeway trips. With the AFM I got 23.6mpg. Without - 20.3. However, if that bothers you, just unplug it before you start the car if you are planning a long trip. I would recommend this to anyone wondering what removing AFM can do for them. Now that my warranty is up I can physically remove the AFM as I intend to keep this truck running for a long time. As you can imagine, getting this test perfect is a significant amount of work and doesn't come cheap.
