Too soft for cutting cardboard

I have a stationery store and bought these for cutting and bending cardboard. However, the material is very soft and the tip needed to cut thick paper wears out quickly. I can even leave marks on their surface simply by pressing on them with my fingernail. Therefore, they are useless for me for card counting. However, they are suitable for folding because they hardly leave any polishing residue. So basically I have to use a 100% bone pointed tool to score the paper and then switch to this teflon tool to adjust the crease. It's a pain, not what I was hoping for. But at least I get wrinkles with no polished marks. I do not know, How long do these teflon edges last for crumpling cardboard because even a folded edge of cardboard will leave a tiny notch in the teflon material. I will not buy Teflon tools from this brand again.
