Review on Premium Tree Trunk Aquarium Decoration with Hollow Center by Crystal Montanez

It's big and looks cool, but it smells like plastic and paint. I've been working in the plastics industry for 10 years and the smell is like standing next to a curtain of melted LDPE. I soak it in hot water repeatedly to see if I can get rid of the smell and will update this review with the results. If that doesn't work I'll throw it away because I seriously think it might harm my fish. I would love to hear other comments or recommendations. To update. I bought this in March. I've soaked it in hot water and dish soap at least a dozen times and it still smelled awful. So I left it until January. Aging has removed the smell. It has been in my tank for a week now and the fish love it.
