No more climbing out of the warm cocoon of the bed to turn off the light! I originally bought a Bluetooth socket to control my bedroom lamp, but it stopped working after a few weeks. Not to mention that I got tired of opening the app on my phone, letting it boot up and then turning off the lamp. I'm excited about this remote version! The outlet is behind a heavy solid wood dresser and I was afraid the signal wouldn't get through, but it toggles on and off with the first click every time. I can stay cozy in my warm bed and turn off the lamp when I'm done reading or something. The remote control also has an extra adhesive pad on the back so you can attach it to the wall next to your bed or anywhere else. Great feature! It's amazing! Much better (and cheaper) than Bluetooth alternatives!
