So it's not needed for my car, at least not yet. I thought this tube was bigger than it actually is, and it's small, like a reverse osmosis tube or fridge line, which I don't need either. I can eventually even though I'm 10 feet away from it! I HOPED it was bigger so I could use it on my salt water softener without sun damage or cracking. I hate the tubes that come with fabric softener as they stay rolled up and then sprayed onto the weed. So this is too small for the softener drain line. As I thought about what I could use it for, I finally thought of it. MY TOILET! You know the pipe in the tank. I've been looking for a replacement for her for a long time. I have a Kaboom toilet cleaning system that adds a small amount of bromine to the water to clean the toilet with every flush. However, bromine destroys plastic tubes. It works out! Silicone is malleable and soft, so you can tighten it tightly and not leak. I probably have enough toilet pipes for the rest of my life! If bromine ruins this pipe I'll update this review. I don't think so.
