I purchased these mats after my kitchen remodel as cabinet liners. I did have to cut them to fit. They are perfect for our new cabinets and they keep things in place. Additionally, I don't have to toss them out after a year - they are washable and wash up nicely. I have purchased silicone mats before but they are thin and do not have as good of a grip as these do. I also use this mat when crafting using a hot glue gun. If the hot glue drips on the mat, it is easy to pick off and toss.
