Finally a product that meets the nutritional needs of my Herman tortoise. Many other foods contained too many fruits or fillers that grassland turtles do not need or cannot digest. My turtle willingly eats Natural Grassland Pellets and I can easily feed them. Before ZooMed developed this formula, I had to purchase large packs of timothy hay and bermuda grass intended for rabbits. There was a lot of waste and I had to cut it short enough for the turtle to eat. It was a pain and hard to make sure he was eating enough. Now I just soak the pellets (use distilled or dechlorinated water) and mix them with herbs and other items. Thanks zoomed!
