Here in my small home office I needed something to cool my Macbook Pro. I have a small 6-bay shelf that I keep on my desk for audio equipment, an air conditioner, a Hal 9000 fixture, and my Macbook Pro sits at the bottom of the shelf under the equipment. I had a Macbook laptop cooling pad with three fans, but it didn't cool the Pro well enough under heavy use. So I got this 2U fan box and I can tell you it works great! My Macbook Pro is still at the bottom of the rack but now behind this Infinity unit. I had to open it up to change the fans so the air was being blown into the rack instead of out, but it was easy to do and now my Macbook's internal processor keeps below 120 degrees. I like the digital display and how accessible the buttons are to increase and decrease the fan speed as needed during use. If you are looking for one for every application. Take it!
