Bought this to heat my very small bedroom. In the evening my room temperature starts at around 59-60 Fahrenheit, slowly but gradually heating the room up. In the morning my thermometer reads 70-72 Fahrenheit and that's how warm it is after 8-10 hours of running. I place the heater on a flat surface that is my bed height and a few inches from my bed. Power is low, I think around 500 for a high setting. Not sure if it will still warm up to 70F if my starting room temp drops, but I'll see. Some things I thought I didn't need but now want (1) thermostat, (2) oscillation, (3) faster heat up (but that would mean more power). I bought this heater expecting to leave it on all night so it doesn't overheat as it doesn't have a thermostat and so far it's doing just that. But now I'm considering switching to a different heater.
