Not what I expected, corners should work.
My new shower tray is lined with a rubber insert carefully cut to overlap and glued with the appropriate adhesive. I will be gluing these one-piece corners with the same rubberized glue applied liberally to both sides. Allow to dry, then level the shower tray grout as usual, then add the tile. This adds an extra waterproof layer at leak-prone corners.
