Purchased for spotting wildlife with very low power consumption/injuries (grass turtles in an aviary). 10' if a bush, thin tree or chair is in the way. When I press the find phone button, my phone rings, but the phone can't find the tile when I'm standing over it most of the time. So not particularly helpful. To advise? Let's see if it holds up on a rainy day. PS: The glue didn't last 100 hours either. Let's see if the battery is really good for 3 years, especially after you actually turn it on. Addendum: The battery didn't last 3 months. TILE's customer support has been good, but the reality is that the device is a gimmick and not fit for any use, resulting in "serious", so save your money. With the update it worked for 100 minutes but still only with a perfect off site line The signal still doesn't come through the potted plant and the glue isn't special so if your sticker falls behind said plant you aren't Happiness. If you can find it, expect to re-glue it, maybe with epoxy putty. I'm either burned out now or lost both packages in short months if not weeks. Tile sent me a replacement (not two) but I'm neither impressed nor hopeful. I would prefer a refund.
