Great barrier for a cat!
I recently moved into a house with another cat who upset another cat who quickly started using the living room rug as a sandpit. My opening is similar to the picture. As this was an open area with no doors, we had to do some creative rearrangements to keep the cats out and the house clean. This gate solved the problem as the cats couldn't get through the bars and didn't try to jump over them. So the older cat is forced to use the sandpit upstairs. Next step: parquet floors. You must be smarter than a cat :-)
