I had my doubts when I first got the device because I ordered 2 official chargers directly from Dell and this one had a completely different finish (smooth plastic that leaves fingerprints on it - the original have a surface similar to sandpaper). But it worked fine - until now, 4 months later, when it stopped working completely: the LED is still on, but it doesn't charge the computer (or other devices, e.g. my phone) anymore. If I wiggle the cable and hold it at odd angles, I sometimes manage to charge it, making it appear as if the USB-C connector is made out of cheap stuff that doesn't last more than a few months. There are many other reviews that after 3-4 months the device stops working. They are genuine, find another part/seller.
