Review on ๐Ÿƒ Amphipod Airflow Lite: Optimal Cooling for Ultimate Performance by Barry Hill

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Comfortable, discreet, suitable for essentials without being bulky.

After giving up the idea of carrying a fanny pack while running, I agreed to my wife's request that I carry my phone on long/remote runs in case I got caught on the trail ankle or something and need help. When I first started running I tried wearing a bandage but found it uncomfortable. This backpack also allows me to just use my phone to listen to music and get rid of my old iPod Nano which I used to clip to my shorts but kind of hop around. This backpack is very comfortable and doesn't bounce around. I wear it around the waistband of my shorts (so it doesn't chafe my bare skin) and it's almost completely covered by the hem of my shirt. It's unobtrusive and doesn't look super silly. Fits really well on my iPhone 5s, car keys and house keys (I leave my keychain in the car) and money clip with ID, credit card and a few bills in case my body needs identification or I want to buy a post run snack in one Cafรฉ at the beginning of the trail. Hopefully the last. I can't speak to the water bottle holders, which are sold separately but attach to this belt. Sizing info: I have a 32" waist. The belt is nearing its upper limit, but there are still a few inches left in the settings and it can continue to stretch.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
