The wrong clamp was sent with the kit. The receiver hole on the clip is threaded and is too small for the microphone holder base, which is unthreaded and much larger. It's a shame to receive such a nice kit with mismatched factory parts. I can't comment on the sound quality as I haven't gotten that far yet. There was another reviewer with the same problem who sent it back for an exchange and got lucky the second time, but I'm not taking any chances. I'll send it back and buy something else.
