Nice and bright - even when switched off! The big one is very bright. Dimly bright. Off Cheap Chinese lightbulbs that don't have a capacitor, so the smallest amount of electrons (always present in AC) lights the LEDs. No real harm, but they never run out in my over-the-stove microwave. In terms of shelf life, they lasted over a week!
