PEXESATA32 - 2 eSATA Port Card - Ubuntu 16.04 Internals

Why does Revain mix 6 different models in a list that have 6 different capabilities? I can't tell which ratings apply to which cards. Stupidity. This is for the PEXESATA32 card - 2 eSATA ports. Important limitations about this card. * There are 2 eSATA ports, but only 1 can be used at the same time with Port Multiplier. The PM supports up to 8 drives, although most users use 4 or 5 with their external arrays.* If one port uses an eSATA pm connection, the other connection only supports an HDD eSATA connection.* "The max Throughput of this card is limited by the bus interface. When used with computers that support PCI Express Gen 1.0, the maximum throughput is 2.5 Gbps. When used with computers that support PCI Express Gen 2.0, the maximum throughput is 5 Gbps Only one port can use the port multiplier Function at a time Port Multiplier is not supported by Mac OSยฎ "Initially it didn't work for me, but I found that out of the 3 new eSATA cables, only one really worked. 2 eSATA storage devices have been tested, both work with the same cable connected to the top port of this card, it was later found that both devices required PM capabilities n, since both devices have multiple drives, and this card only supports one eSATA pm connection at a time. The map is seen by the kernel: Ubuntu 16.04, kernel version 4.15.0-112$ lspci - vk
