They are actually very good as long as you don't put them in strong wind places. I put them up at my house and within the first week they were on the roof and in the ditch. I dropped her three times, I give up. If they were heavier, maybe that wouldn't be a problem. And since they are light weight and small gauge wire I can't comment on the durability of these lights but to be honest I never expect much from the lights I've bought before. But when the wind isn't a factor, then these lights are truly amazing. They look great, hang well and the flash sequence options work and look great. It looks to me like I'll be using rope lighting on the eaves next year.
