To be honest I was skeptical about installing anything other than Alpine, I've been into car audio since 1998 and EVERYTHING I've ever used, was Alpine. I got married and had better things to spend money and time on. But audiophiles have gone nowhere. I also took the old type R 12, made a box, connected the Alpins and off we went. However, I didn't have the extra money to spend on a new Alpine subwoofer, so I started checking out a few YouTube channels and they reviewed Rockville. A REAL honest review. So I decided to try this Rockville K6D4 V2 for more than half the price of Alpine. I am using it on an Alpine MrvM500 connected to 2 ohms. Wow, I couldn't believe a subwoofer in this price range could be built with this quality. I broke them for a week and finally released them today. My mirror fell off my windshield. I am impressed.
