They work, but the covers are very difficult to install on a good quality shielded ethernet cable.
Different colored ends to avoid cable problems. I just wish they were a little stretchier. It took me a hell of a long time to install them on good quality shielded cable. I had to lubricate the cable with silicone spray to install the covers. These colored ends should work well with the cheaper thin ethernet cables that are readily available.

- The RJ45 protective cap protects RJ45 jacks from dust and oxidation and extends the service life of the RJ jack.
