Review on πŸͺš Carbide Tipped Forstner Drill Bit by KOWOOD by Jeff Grindley

Revainrating 3 out of 5

4 shank sizes, hard to find shank extension

This set of 14 Forstner bits have carbide blades and bits. This is the only one on the Revain website. I believe it can work much better than others. I measured all drills. Blade/cutting dimensions are within 0.003" tolerances. Very good bit size accuracy. But there are four different shank sizes. Using a drill press and a Jacob chuck on a lathe will not cause any problems. But when the time comes, have to Extension cords are used for deep drilling It will be difficult to dock with the extension cord 1. 3/8" (1 5/8" and 2") is the standard size. No problem finding the extension. 2. 5/16" (1 1/2", 1 3/8", 1 1/4"). "1 1/8" 7/8" 3/4" - Cannot extend Find for this stock Size 3. 17/64" (1", 3/4"). -- Barely fits 1/4" hole extender. 4. 25/64" (1/4", 3/8", 1/2") -- Can't find an extension for this shank size. If you need to drill deep holes and can't find an extension for it, what can you do?
