Review on πŸ”‹ Feet Cosy Battery-Powered Foot Warmers by Lawrence Feldman

Revainrating 3 out of 5

But works. good for outdoor activities

I bought a pair of these from Revain a few years ago. The first or second time I used them, one of the batteries shorted out and the connector melted. Indus-Tool sent me a spare pair with battery packs attached (I prefer swappable batteries). For me, when they work, they have worked great. The problem is that the heating element is so thin and fragile that it breaks very easily. They can be repaired (which is painful), but I've found that fitting them to a fairly rigid cardboard insole (which also makes fitting them to other shoes much easier) reduces the flexing of the insole and makes it less likely to break. However, sometimes it seems like I spend more time fixing them than wearing them. I have Raynaud's phenomenon (sounds more exotic than "syndrome" [thanks Mrs. Bucket] ;-)) and my toes are always uncomfortably cold in winter. . They help when they work, but I'm looking for something more permanent that doesn't need constant repairs. As they are not very durable I would not recommend them.
