Fits and fits better than I expected from a Revain muffler. My old muffler literally fell to pieces from rust. The hardest part was cutting off the old one and cleaning up the rusty weldments that were stuck to the rest of the exhaust pipe. Then it was easy to put on. Slipped right. Just used some lube. I even put my old exhaust pipe in it (which had rusted and fallen off about a year ago). Now I have a silent muffler and exhaust pipe again. The Ranger doesn't really need support rods to hold the muffler in place (the original ones rusted right after my old one and it was still pretty solid). But I ended up just welding the old ones to this new one just for extra security. I really wish there was some kind of support system. It's not that hard to figure out how to hang metal under a vehicle anyway.
