Never used before it broke

I have a problem with the product. On July 26th I received the device, turned it on, it has reset to zero and seems to be working normally. I put the device away as unnecessary and kept it in the original packaging. As of this week (07/08/2018) when we had to use the device it will not reset. When you click Next, the device will start beeping LEL. Please advise. Such an expensive installation should no longer require additional investments.
