Works without any problems

I used this to repair a dent in an acrylic shower enclosure (white) caused by a heavy object hitting the tub. The impact was strong enough to punch a small hole in the acrylic. The instructions provided were clear and I had no problem mixing the two pastes. Filling the hole was a little tricky but my area was close to the corner of the tub which made it difficult to work with. I mixed in some extra paste and went through the repair a couple of times to make sure the surface was as smooth as possible before drying - nothing special as the paste doesn't dry very quickly so it can be worked on for a while. I let it dry for a day or so and at that point it was solid. The color is pretty close to my bathtub so the renovation goes well together. For now the hole is closed but only time will tell if the repairs hold up. My only negative comment is that the included sandpaper (although 300/400 grit) is still a bit rough so the sanded area may look less shiny than the original acrylic. This can probably be corrected with additional polishing (paste), but in my case it doesn't matter. Overall this is one of the most affordable acrylic repair kits and I am happy with the product.

Pros
  • Do-it-yourself repair in a few steps: you just have to mix part A and part B of the repair compound, apply to the damaged area and then smooth the surface.
