Expected to work best with paint, wall treatments and accessories

This item arrived as described. It was fairly easy to use, although it turned out to be quite thick and rough because we used it to repair a huge (palm-sized) hole in a round porcelain sink and the tools are very small and not round. Days to make it smooth and you have to repeat the process to get a completely smooth surface. The patch will eventually become slightly more opaque than the slightly translucent appearance of the original porcelain. The opacity and difficulty in getting a smoother…

Pros
  • Finish has a porcelain appearance when dry.
Cons
  • Nothing

Quite fiddly to use but works in the end

I applied this to a curved surface and it took a lot of prep and a lot of sanding to get a less than perfect finish. Very difficult to maneuver into position AND you can't tell exactly how it's going until you dry it and start sanding it. Well I'm not very good at this kind of work so I'll give this product the benefit of the doubt and assume any product like this is the same. He is very white. Note that you may think your surface is white. But probably not as white as this thing. In the end I…

It worked fine, but cutting the film tape didn't work.

Everything worked fine but I taped the tub in place and then I wanted to cut a hole slightly larger than the hole. That didn't seem to work because trying to cut it with a utility knife meant I would be cutting through the fiberglass, making the hole bigger, so the tape had to be cut again, making the hole bigger. You understand it won't work. In the end I cut the tape into smaller strips and then glued the strips around the hole on all sides, like a little box around the hole. It worked…

Pros
  • All of our mixes are suitable for permanent repairs and are stronger than the original stone.
Cons
  • No effect

Works without any problems

I used this to repair a dent in an acrylic shower enclosure (white) caused by a heavy object hitting the tub. The impact was strong enough to punch a small hole in the acrylic. The instructions provided were clear and I had no problem mixing the two pastes. Filling the hole was a little tricky but my area was close to the corner of the tub which made it difficult to work with. I mixed in some extra paste and went through the repair a couple of times to make sure the surface was as smooth as…

Pros
  • Do-it-yourself repair in a few steps: you just have to mix part A and part B of the repair compound, apply to the damaged area and then smooth the surface.
