I applied this to a curved surface and it took a lot of prep and a lot of sanding to get a less than perfect finish. Very difficult to maneuver into position AND you can't tell exactly how it's going until you dry it and start sanding it. Well I'm not very good at this kind of work so I'll give this product the benefit of the doubt and assume any product like this is the same. He is very white. Note that you may think your surface is white. But probably not as white as this thing. In the end I no longer have a hole, just an oddly shaped bright white spot. So I think it's an improvement. It's smooth and prevents people from cutting themselves and looks better than bare interior, but it's a lot harder to deal with than it looks.
