Review on Honeywell 52 Inch Tropical Ceiling Outdoor by Anne Nishioka

It moves air! in Lighting & Ceiling Fans

Ignore reviews that say this fan doesn't move enough air. I'm a retired engineer and I can attest that no fan with such a large square inch fan blade could possibly move a good amount of air at that angle. As suggested by other reviews, if you really want to "feel the breeze", don't forget to flip the directional switch down so the fan blows down. Ironically, I replaced the Hunter brand fan in my outdoor patio with this fan simply because the Hunter was NOT moving enough air. I've always been a fan (pun intended) of the Hunter brand, but the large palm leaf blade design and 4-speed option made me try this fan and I'm glad I did. It has a nice quiet motor, so quiet you really only hear the sound of the air whistling down. It can sometimes be difficult to move air outdoors, but this fan's design allows for much more air movement than the typical design with long, thin blades that often only have an angle of 6 degrees, while those blades have an angle of 15 degrees . This is my first Honeywell fan. I took a chance when I used many of their products in the labs I worked in during my years of research. To top it off, this fan was cheaper than the Hunter I replaced which was only a year old and has now been donated to Good Will. :-)
