I don't understand some of the others Reviews complain that the head is too big, the spring is too tight, difficult to connect and disconnect from Zerks, or it leaks. The device I received worked great with no leaks at all - the head is actually slightly shorter than a standard straight coupler and fitted the space I needed quite snugly. I just snapped my standard straight grease gun coupler onto it, and when I was ready to remove it, the spring compresses slightly to allow the bushing to expose the connection, and a quick twist did the trick. Not difficult at all. The spring-loaded bushing prevents wobbling of the grease gun hose connection. The device snapped easily and firmly onto the transom mounts and was just as easy to remove once lubrication was complete - as any other standard hitch. Grease doesn't seep or leak anywhere, and my hose coupler stays securely connected to the tool and the tool features a mirror fitting while lube is pumped - only one hand is used to pump. It is not necessary to hold the device by the fitting or the hose to the device. Works exactly as intended. A practical accessory for every grease gun.
